KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC), the main opposition party, has asked the government to ensure that it took measures to avoid the possibility of an outbreak of the disease in the disaster-affected areas.

Issuing a press statement today, the NC Parliamentary Party Office has urged the government and concerned bodies to work towards preventing further loss in the areas.

The party has also urged the government to ensure the operation of response works in an efficient way.
