MORANG: A motorcyclist has died after being hit by a tanker, Ko 2 Ta 2320, at Bheduwathan in Sunbarshi Muncipality-9 in the district. The deceased has been identified as Dilip Kumar BK of Bhojpur district, who was currently staying at Amardaha, Sunbarshi Municipality.
The incident took place when the motorcycle, Ko 5 Pa 1178, heading to west from east was struck by the tractor heading to the same direction.
BK who sustained critical injuries in the accident, breathed his last while undergoing treatment at Rangeli Hospital, confirmed Area Police Office, Rangeli. Meanwhile, police have taken tractor under control and is searching for the absconding driver.
