Provinces table fiscal budget of Rs 2.596 trln



KATHMANDU: Focusing on the infrastructure  and social development, all the provinces have tabled budget in their respective assemblies of the year 2019/20 on Sunday.

All the provinces have tabled a total of Rs 2.596 trillion budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

The budget has increased by 25.55 percent compared to the fiscal year. Province 3 has the highest budget while Far West Province has the lowest budget Rs 47.6 billion for Province 3 and Rs 28.16 billion has been allocated for Far-west Province.

Various provinces have forwarded ambitious proposals such as monorail, cable car and tunnel roads.
