Sita Air begins direct flight from Jhapa to Taplejung



JHAPA: Private airlines company Sita Air has begun its direct flight service from Bhadrapur of Jhapa to Suketar of Taplejung from today.

Similarly, Sita Air will also conduct a flight service from Chandragadi to Lukla within this week.

The flight services will help pilgrims to visit Pathibhara Temple and those trekking up to the gate way to Mt Everest, said Purna Chudal, chief of Civil Aviation Authority, Chandragadhi Airport.

Chudal expressed belief that these flight services would help make Visit Nepal Year 2020 a success.

An 18-seater aircraft will carry 14 people to Suketar and 12 passengers to Lukla from Chandragadhi. The flight will take off at 7 am every morning and land at Lukla within 30 minutes.
