One killed, two injured as motorcycles collide head-on

CHITWAN: A youth was killed and two others were injured when two motorcycles collided head-on at Bharatpur Metropolis-29, Satrakilo of the district on Saturday.

According to District Police Office, the deceased is Baijanath Chaudhary, 32, of Jitpur, Parsa district.

The mishap happened when motorcycle, Ga 17 Pa 4564, heading to Narayangadh from Mugling and another motorcycle, Ba 53 Pa 1650, heading to opposite direction collided head-on. Chaudhary was riding motorcycle Ba 53 Pa 1650, police said.

Persons travelling another motorcycle— Santosh Thakuri, 21, and Ramesh BK, 20, of Pokhara Metropolis-15 were injured in the accident.

DSP Ek Narayan Koirala said the injured are undergoing treatment at Old Medical College.
