Deuba slams use of govt vehicles for poll publicity

KANCHANPUR: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has sought an end to the violation of the election code of conduct.

In his address to an election publicity campaign organized by the Nepali Congress at Punarbas Municipality-3 on Saturday, the party president and former prime minister expressed his concern over the use of government vehicles in the election publicity campaign.

“This must be stopped,” he said.

He assured of infrastructure development at the locality if the NC candidate was given a winning vote. He took time to call voters to make party ward chair candidate Deep Tamang victorious in the election.
