RAMECHHAP: Police have arrested a woman on the charge of murdering her 65-year-old father-in-law.
Parbati Achhami of Manthali municipality-12 has been alleged of murdering her father-in-law, Dik Bahadur, who was found dead in his house.
The District Court of Ramechhap has remanded her to custody on Tuesday.
Police have initiated an investigation. A team of police, upon receiving information about the murder from the locals, had reached the incident site. The police suspected that it was a murder.
Police then apprehended Parbati suspecting her involvement in the murder. According to the district police, Parbati might have killed her father-in-law by hitting with firewood.
