KATHMANDU: A foreclosure notice has been issued in the name of journalist Rabi Lamichhane to pay the house mortgage loan at the earliest in the United States.

A company, Mr Cooper, in Dallas of Texas, has also issued a warrant accusing Lamichhane of not paying one or more home loan payment. “If the loan is not paid, the company will go further for the default,” the notice reads.

The company also said that the foreclosure action may be filed in court as early as 45 days from the postmark date of the notice. The notice was released on June 6, 2019.

Lamichhane had earlier agreed to pay the home loan, manage the expenditure of his former wife Isha Lamichane and bear the responsibility of the children in the divorce paper with Isha.
