Provincial governments unveil budget



KATHMANDU: Provincial governments have unveiled their respective budgets for the fiscal year 2019/20.

Province 1 unveils Rs 42.12 billion budget

Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning of State-1, Indra Angbo today presented a budget of Rs 42.12 billion for the fiscal year 2019/20. Out of the total budget, the recurrent expenditure of State-1 for the fiscal year 2019/20 will be Rs 18.54 billion.

Likewise, the capital expenditure will be Rs 23.57 billion. The state government has allocated Rs 80 million for fiscal management.

Province 3 unveils a budget of Rs 47.50 billion budget

State 3 Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Kailash Dhungel today unveiled a budget of Rs 47.50 billion for the fiscal year 2019/20.

While Rs 24.40 billion has been allocated towards recurrent, Rs 22.83 billion has been allocated as capital expenditure. Minister Dhungel said that the budget has prioritized infrastructure construction, development of tourism, modernization of agro sector, community farming among other projects. The budget also mentions replacing the petrol run vehicles by electric vehicles by 2078 BS.

Province 5 unveils budget of Rs 36.41 billion

Province 5 today unveiled a budget of Rs 36.41 billion. Chief Minister of State-5 Shankar Pokharel, who is also the Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning presented the budget for the fiscal year 2019/20 today.

The budget has Rs 13.45 billion towards recurrent. Likewise, it has Rs 18.57 billion towards capital expenditure.

Karnali State unveils Rs 34.50 billion budget

Karnali State has unveiled a budget of Rs. 34.35 billion for the fiscal year 2019/20. Minister for Economic Affairs of Karnali State, Prakash Jwala presented the budget in the meeting of the provincial assembly on Sunday. The budget has allocated Rs 13 billion for recurrent and Rs 21.29 billion towards capital expenditure.

Sudurpaschhim Pradesh unveils a budget of Rs 28.16 billion

Sudurpaschhim Pradesh unveiled a budget of Rs 28.16 billion on Sunday. Minister for Economic Affairs and Planning, Jhapat Bohara presented the budget for the fiscal year 2019/20. While Rs 12.57 billion has been allocated towards recurrent, a total of Rs 13.6 billion has been allocated towards capital expenditure.
