Two held with 210 kg marijuana

SARLAHI: Police have arrested two people with 210 kilograms of marijuana in Lalbandi Municipality of the district.

Police seized 150 kilograms of marijuana from an unclaimed jeep with an Indian number plate and 60 kilograms of marijuana from a house.

According to police the contraband was concealed in a house belonging to Sangam Lama based in Lalbandhi-6.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 37-year-old Saroj Jang Ghimire of Lalbandi Municipality-7 and 18-year-old Sidhu Singh of Birgunj Metropolitan City-18 for their alleged involvement in the contraband.

They said they are investigating the case.
