Dahal stresses on diversification of agricultural sector



KATHMANDU: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has stressed the need for diversification and modernization in agriculture sector.

Inaugurating the Nepal Coffee Enterprise Promotion Summit e-2019, he said that Nepal should emphasize on coffee production since there has been huge demand of coffee in national and international market due to its exquisite quality.

Nepal has a potential of coffee farming in 1.2 million hectares of land.

Dahal said Nepal should lay its emphasis on spurring investment, research and training in the area of coffee production as well as in expanding its farming.
