Police told to release industrialist Roop Jyoti

KATHMANDU: District Attorney Office, Kathmandu has told police to release industrialist Roop Jyoti and his daughter Suruchi.

Information Officer Numraj Khanal at the attorney office said that police were told to release them after deciding not to file a case against them.

They are being released after Bigendra Krishna Malla, who earlier lodged a complaint against the industrialist of fraud over a land dispute withdrew his complaint.

Malla has earlier filed a complaint at the Kathmandu Metropolitan Circle alleging them of cheating him of Rs 12.6 million over a case involving land at Bansbari in Kathmandu.
