Police recover another 5.6 kg gold in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: Kanchanpur police recovered 5.6 kilogram gold from a cowshed at Amarpur in Shukhlaphanta of Kanchanpur this morning.

A joint team of Area Police Office, Jhalari, and Crime Investigation Bureau (CIB) seized the gold from the cowshed of Suraj Tiruwa at 1:00 am. Police said the gold was buried in a pit in the cowshed.

The confiscated gold has been kept at the Kanchanpur District Police Office. The police had on Thursday had confiscated 18 kg gold from Punarbas Municipality-2 in Kanchanpur district.
