KATHMANDU: Protestors demanding to reinstate Nepal as a Hindu kingdom on Saturday spilled eight drums of animal blood on road in front of Bhadrakali Temple near Singha Durbar.

Nine cadres of the Mohan Shumsher Rana-led Rashtriya Swayamsevak Dal were arrested as they spilled the blood on the road.

Spokesperson of Metropolitan Police Range, Katmandu DSP Hobindra Bogati said they were arrested for polluting the environment adding that a further investigation was underway.
