PM Oli returning home on Sunday



KATHMANDU: Wrapping up weeklong visit, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is returning home on Sunday.

The prime minister had left for a visit to European countries on June 8. During the tour, he visited Britain, Switzerland and France.

He addressed the Centenary Conference of International Labor Organization in Geneva, Switzerland before leaving for Britain.

In Britain, the prime minister met his counterpart Theresa May. He also met opposition leader in the British Parliament Jeremy Corbyn and Duke of Sussex Prince Harry. PM Oli also addressed a special ceremony at Oxford University.

Completing his official visit to Britain, the prime minister spent three days in France. During his stay, he met his French counterpart Edouard Philippe.

The prime minister’s entourage comprises his spouse Radhika Shakya, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, Minister for Employment and Social Security, Gokarna Bista, chief political advisor to the Prime Minister, Bishnu Rimal, foreign affairs advisor, Dr. Rajan Bhattarai, President of parliament committee on industry, commerce, labor and consumer interest, Bimal Prasad Shreewastav and lawmaker Binda Pandey.
