KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two Polish nationals with illegal currency notes from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Monday.
The arrested are Maksymilian Weglowski and Jakub Stecki. They were arrested while they were leaving for Doha, Qatar through a flight of Qatar Airways.
Police seized USD 19,700, Euro 10,200 and Rs 58,000 from their possession. Preparations were underway to hand them to the Department of Revenue Investigation, police said.
