‘A’ Division League: Inaugural match to be played at ANFA Complex



KATHMANDU: As per the schedule, Machhindra Youth Club will take on Brigade Boys Club in the inaugural match to be played at the Dasharath Stadium. But, at the 11th hour, the venue of the opening match is shifted to the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) complex from Dashrath Stadium citing the condition of Dashrath Stadium.

ANFA said that the venue is shifted due to the condition of the pitch.  A total of 14 top clubs will vie for the honors in the league featuring 91 matches to be played under a single round-robin from December 14 to February 15.

Manang Marshyangdi, Three Star Club, Nepal Police Club, Nepal Armed Police Force Club, Tribhuvan Army, Jawalakhel Youth Club, Friends’ Club, Sankata Club, Machhindra Club, Saraswati Youth Club, Chyasal Youth Club, New Road Team, Brigade Boys and Himalayan Sherpa Club will meet each other over 64 days.
