17 Nepali Army staffs injured in Kawasoti bus accident

KAWASOTI: As many as 17 people were injured when a bus met with an accident at Kawasoti-3 of East Nawalparasi district today morning. The bus was carrying 40 Nepali Army staffs.

The bus  fell some 10 meters below the road after the driver lost control, police inspector Arjun Adhikari said. The accident took place at 3:30 am today.

Prem Bahadur Khatri and Birendra Shahi have sustained serious injuries. They have been taken to Chitwan.

Those sustaining minor injuries are receiving treatment at Madyabindu District hospital and Kaligandaki hospital.

The accident occurred when the bus bearing registration number NA 6 Kha 404 heading  from Surkhet to Kathmandu met with an accident, police said.
