Senior Women’s Volleyball C’ship:  Nepal taking on Maldives today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is taking on Maldives for the title of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) Central Zone Senior Women’s Volleyball Championship on Thursday.

The tournament is being held at Shaheed Suhrawardi Indoor Stadium in Dhaka at 2:45 pm.

Deprived of an international title for long, Nepal is likely to create history in the Bangladeshi land this time as it has reached the final after becoming the group stage winner.

Earlier, Nepal had defeated the Maldives in the final group stage match by 3 goals.

Nepal has defeated Afghanistan, Kirgizstan, Bangladesh, and Maldives.
