Lawmaker vandalizes check-in counter over flight delay

JANAKPURDHAM: A lawmaker vandalized a check-in counter of Buddha Air at Janakpur Airport over a flight delay on Monday afternoon.

Lawmaker Pramod Shah representing the Rastriya Janata Party Nepal from Sarlahi-1 vandalized the counter. Shah vented his ire after the flight scheduled for 11:40 am did not take off till 1:30 pm.

The airline company had barred him from flying. However, Shah was allowed following an initiation from Chief District Officer.
