Over 37 thousand voters in Baglung constituency ‘B’ by-poll



BAGLUNG: Around 36,926 voters will take part in the upcoming by-election in Baglung constituency ‘B’ under the Gandaki State Assembly.

The by-poll has been scheduled for November 30, according to the Election Commission.

The by-election is being held as the seat has been lying vacant after the demise of State Assembly member Tek Bahadur Gharti on December 12, 2018.

He was elected to the post from Rastriya Janamorcha party.

Likewise, the by-election for the ward chairperson of Badigadh rural municipality-2 is taking place on the same day.

The post has been vacant with the election of ward chair Bishnu Bhusal as the deputy chief of the District Coordination Committee.

A total of 1,775 voters will vote for the ward chair.

A total of 42 polling stations will be set up for the by-election while two polling stations will be put for the local-level election.
