One dies after being hit by bus in Chitwan



CHITWAN: A man succumbed to injuries when he was hit by a passenger bus while he was cycling at Ratnanagar-3 along the East-West Highway in Chitwan Monday morning.

The identity of the deceased is yet to be ascertained, District Police Office, Chitwan said.

Critically injured cyclist breathed his last at Bharatpur Hospital during treatment.

The bus driver has been absconding along with the bus. Search for the driver and the bus was underway, police said.
