Five held with narcotic drugs in Dang



DANG: Police have arrested five people with narcotic drugs from New Bus Park of Ghorahi in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, the District Police Office, Dang apprehended them in possession of 970 capsules of Tramadol hydrochloride, 10 tablets of nitrazepam, two lorazepam injection syringes, among others.

The arrested are Saroj Basnet of Ghorahi Sub-metropolitan City-14, Bhim Bahadur Magar alias Arjun of Lohasur, Kabin Basnet of Ghorahi-15, Lijan BC of Gorahi-14 and Prabin Bishwokarma of Ghorahi-15, said DSP Binod Bikram Shah.

Police said they are investigating the case in accordance with the Narcotic Drugs (Control) Act, 2033.
