‘Search and destroy’ campaign to control dengue in Hetauda



HETAUDA: The Hetauda sub-metropolis has initiated a ‘search and destroy’ campaign in a bid to control dengue.

Representatives of social organizations, political parties, State Assembly members, Nepal Army, Nepal Police, and Armed Police Force, people’s representatives of Hetauda sub-metropolis and locals have been involved in the campaign.

Supendra Karki, Chief of the Public Health Division, Hetauda, informed that mobilization is taking place to destroy mosquitoes in Hetauda.

According to him, around 60 people have been found to be infected from dengue in ward-4 of Hetauda sub-metropolis alone which is almost half of dengue-infected people in the district of Makawanpur.
