‘Internet price will not be hiked’



KATHMANDU: Internet Service Providers in Nepal have decided not to hike the price of internet.

A cabinet meeting held on June 5 had decided to provide concession in the fee of internet related expenses including on the equipment including the installation of router, maintenance, etc.

Unveiling the cabinet decision, Minister for Information and Communications Technology  Gokul Prasad Baskota said, “Fee for  installation of necessary equipment including including router, intranet-lease line data connectivity and maintenance will be free.”
