Chinese national dies in Nepal

BIDUR: A Chinese national died at Chaughada in Likhu Rural Municipality-3 in Nuwakot district when he was hit on the head by some goods fallen from the upper part of a tower today morning.

Hiyo Jhyang, 47, who was associated with the under-construction Three A Hydropower project, sustained serious head injuries while he was working on the same electric tower.

He breathed his last while he was rushed to the District Hospital in Trishuli, according to the District Police Office, Nuwakot.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Bhimlal Bhattarai shared that some repair works were ongoing in the tower when the incident took place at around 10:00 am. The body has been kept at the District Hospital in Trishuli for a post-mortem.
