Sapkota appointed Deputy Executive Director of Institute of Foreign Affairs



KATHMANDU: Rupak Sapkota has been appointed Deputy Executive Director of the Institute of Foreign Affairs, the only government think tank of Nepal.

Sapkota studied Ph.D. in foreign affairs from the-Beijing based Renmin University. A Ph.D. scholar in ‘China-India-Nepal Trilateral Relation’, Sapkota is currently associated with Tribhuvan University. He is considered an expert in Nepal-China affairs.

Sapkota was appointed through a Foreign Ministerial level decision to the post that that was vacant following resignation by Indra Adhikari.
