KATHMANDU- The Department of Foreign Employment (DFE) conducted a sudden raid on ‘Alliance International Education Consultancy’ situated in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

Dossier related with sending Nepalese youth to Cyprus has been seized from the drawers of the ‘Alliance Consultancy’ in the raid.

The follow-up team of the ‘Department of Foreign Employment’ got a hand on a number of applications making a request to go to Cyprus, scanned copies of passports and other details of visas issued to various Nepalese workers who are already working in different countries of Europe.

After it was sure that ‘Alliance Consultancy’ is involved in human trafficking, all the other files and computer CPU have been confiscated for further analysis and investigation by the Department of Foreign Employment.

The proprietor of the above consultancy Sujeet Kumar Shrestha has been asked to reply all the queries sent by a letter from the Government department.

The consultancy has aptly used the platform of social media to post advertisements regarding sending Nepalese youth in different countries of Europe in foreign employment.

Department used the same advertisement to fix a date of interview with the ‘Alliance Consultancy’ during which a raid was conducted. It was all happening in the name of giving consultancy for getting an education in different countries of Europe.

In the guise of educational consultancy, Nepalese youth were actually fixed to work in the European countries.
