‘Woman comes under syringe attack on Pashupati premises’



KATHMANDU: An incident of syringe attacks has taken place on the premises of Pashupati area. Police have sent a woman to hospital for examination after she complained of syringe attacks.

Meanwhile, police have intensified search for the culprit involved in the attack by shutting down all the four major entrances of Pashupati Temple.

The complainant is a 52-year-old woman, said Police Inspector Kapur Gurung. “A who appeared in his 50s complained of syringe attacks. We have sent her to Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Desease Hospital, Teku for checkup and are searching for the culprit involved in the crime,” Inspector Gurung told Khabarhub.

Earlier, syringe attacks had taken place in Banepa and Maharajgunj areas.
