Motorboat to operate in Bagmati River from Sunday

SARLAHI:  The government is all set to launch a motorboat in the Bagmati River with the onset of New Year 2076 BS (Sunday).

The motorboat operates between Kyanteen Bazaar of Rautahat to Raigaun of Makwanpur. The water transport will connect Sarlahi and Rautahat to Makwanpur and Sindhuli districts.

“An 11-seater motorboat is coming into operation from April 14 at the initiation of lawmaker of Makwanpur district Krishna Prasad Dahal,” said Sarkesh Ghalan, chief of Bagmati Rural Municipality.

It is believed that the motorboat will help improve economic condition of Makwanpur locals as well as the entire region.
