KATHMANDU: The people from the Newar community on Thursday celebrated Yomari Poornima and Jyapu Day organizing different programs.
A special delicacy made of rice flour and molasses called Yomari is the major attraction of this festival.
A special function was organized at Basantapur where the people from the Newar community participated cladding in their traditional dress.
