KATHMANDU: New television reality show ‘The Leader’ has been announced amidst a press conference at Hotel Annapurna on Thursday afternoon.

The reality show will ‘hunt for dynamic and promising candidates that have the capabilities to make the change in the nation’.

Former Prime Minister Baburam Bhattarai, former Chief Justice Sushila Karki and politician-turned-journalist Rabindra Mishra will judge the candidates.

Two more judges will join based on the audience’s choice to complete the panel of judges, according to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Bipin Kumar Acharaya of SRBN Media, the production company. SRBN Media had successfully produced international franchise show ‘Ko Banchha Crorepati’.

Auditions will be organized in different places of Nepal and also in aboard to select 100 contestants, informed program host Ravi Lamichhane.

The winner will be provided with an apartment in Kathmandu, a brand new car as well as Rs 20 lakh. He/she will get an opportunity to enter national politics.

The program will be aired through News 24, Ramilo TV and Gundruk app. SRBN is collaborating with Arrow Production Pvt. Ltd. for the production.
