TIA to be obstructed for 5 hrs for Prez Xi’s visit

KATHMANDU: Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) is to be obstructed for around five hours today and Sunday in view of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s two-day state visit beginning today.

Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), TIA office informed about this by issuing a notice today. The flights will be disrupted during the arrival and departure of the Chinese President.

Today, both domestic and international flights are to be affected from 2:55 pm to 5:25 pm while on Sunday, flights will be affected from 11.20 am to 1: 50 pm. The airport will be operated 24 hours these days for the adjustment of disrupted/delayed flights.
