Basnet extends financial help to Sindhupalchowk mishap injured

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Mohan Basnet has extended financial support of Rs 50,000 for the treatment of those injured in Friday’s Sindhupalchowk bus accident.

A Kathmandu-bound bus — Ba 2 Kha 2715 — belonging to Helambu Yatayat had skidded off the road falling some 200 meters at Badahare in Indrawati rural municipality of Sindhupalchowk killing at least dozen and injuring over 50 passengers.

Basnet reached the Kathmandu-based Trauma Centre to meet the injured and provided the amount for their treatment.
