MTPD urges support in traffic management

KATHMANDU: The Metropolitan Traffic Police Division (MTPD) has urged all Kathmanduites to help traffic police in traffic management during the two-day state visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping commencing from today.

The MTPD has requested all people not to enter heavy vehicles within Ring Road on October 12 and 13.

The Division has also requested Kathmanduites to use alternative routes rather than the main highway, and refrain from driving unnecessary vehicles. The MTPD has also urged drivers not to honk.
