KATHMANDU: The National Assembly (NA) on Thursday passed two bills related to forests and environment.
The NA passed the bills — ‘Environment Protection Bill, 2075 BS’ and the ‘Forests Bill, 2075 BS’– unanimously.
The bill were earlier presented by Minister for Forests and Environment, Shakti Bahadur Basnet had along with the Legislation Management Committee’s reports on them.
The National Assembly will meet at 3 pm on September 15.
