Indian, Chinese soldiers scuffle in Ladakh

NEW DELHI: Indian and Chinese troops have been reportedly involved in a scuffle in eastern Ladakh near the Pangong Tso Lake on Wednesday, Indian media reports have said.

The reported heated exchange occurred after Chinese Army personnel objected to the patrolling by Indian soldiers in the area.

According to army sources, the incident occurred owing to deferring perceptions about the Line of Actual Control (LAC) between the two countries.

Reports said that the face-off began on the northern bank of the 134-km-long Pangong Tso after dawn on Wednesday. (Agencies)
