CHITWAN: Police have released Prakash Chand, son of ‘Biplav’ — leader of the outlawed Maoist party on Thursday.

Police had on Wednesday arrested Prakash, an MBBS student at Chitwan Medical College in Bharatpur, along with around a dozen students during a students’ protest.

According to the police, they arrested Prakash, leading the protest, as they were obstructing the smooth service delivery at the college hospital.
