Student swept away in Hetauda



HETAUDA: A student from Janakalyan Secondary School at Thaha Municipality-3 of Hetauda was swept away by a rivulet while going to school on Friday.

The Damki rivulet swept away Santamaya Ghalan,14, said District Police Office, Makwanpur.

Transportation along the Hetauda-Narayangadh roadway has been disrupted after the obstruction by the landslide at Jyamire on Friday afternoon.

Area Police Office, Manahari, informed that efforts were underway to clear the obstruction with the use of dozers.

Similarly, transportation disrupted along the Tribhuvan highway is yet to be resumed, the police added.
