In pics: Monsoon wreaks havoc across country

KATHMANDU: Normal life has been thrown out of gear in different parts of the country following incessant rainfall with the onset of monsoon since Thursday night.

The torrential downpour has caused floods and landslides killing at least 11 people. Many places have been waterlogged, roads have been cut off and swollen rivers have entered human settlements following thunderous rains.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division has forecast that rainfall will continue for three more days and has asked all to take caution of possible floods and landslides.
