ISLAMABAD: Pakistan on Friday said it will not open its airspace until India removes its fighter jets from the forward IAF airbases, Pakistan’s media reports have said.

According to reports, Pakistan’s Aviation Secretary Shahrukh Nusrat informed the Senate Standing Committee on Aviation that they have intimated Indian authorities that Pakistani airspace would not be available for use by India until India withdraws its fighter jets from forward positions.

Pakistan had on February 26 closed its airspace after Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets struck a Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) terrorist training camp in Balakot.
