Adivasi Janajati students greet Minister Pandit with black flags



KATHMANDU: A group of  Adivasi Janajati students demanded resignation of Minister for Federal Affairs and General Administration Lal Babu Pandit at a program organized by National Foundation For Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN) in Jawalakhel today.

Irate students showed black flags and shouted slogans demanding his resignation when he came to take part in the 19th executive council meeting of  NFDIN. Pandit had been called to chair the meeting.

They had also demanded scrapping of the advertisement of the public service commission (PSC).

Pandit’s body guard took him out of the hall following uproars and demonstration.

The demonstrators had shouted slogans against Minister Pandit accusing him of acting against indigenous nationalities, Madhesis, Dalits, Muslims, women, handicapped, backward regions and reservation.
