Two women held for stealing a baby

DHRAN: Area Police Office, Dharan has arrested two women on the charge of stealing a baby.

A 13-day-old baby had been stolen from a maternity ward of BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences based in Dharan.

The arrested are Lila Bishwokarma, 27, of Faridabad, New Delhi, currently staying at Dharan-5 and her sister-in-law by relation Mina Limbu (Bishwokarma) of Dharan-15, said DSP Dhundi Raj Neupane.

Mina and Lila had stone the baby boy of Jitnarayan Mehata and Babita Mehata of Bhokraha Nursing Rural Municipality-1, Sunsari. Babira had delivered the baby boy on June 28.

Police have arrested both Lila and Mina and filed a case against them on the charge of kidnapping and hostage taking on Thursday.
