Dahal blames ‘old state structure’ for govt’s inability

CHITWAN: Chairman of Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal has alleged the ‘old state structure’ for creating an obstruction in the day-to-day affairs.

Speaking at a program in Chitwan today, Dahal said despite the new government’s efforts, it has become difficult to perform due to the old state structure.

The laws, as he said, have not been changed due to which the new system has not been able to function as desired. Maintaining that there have been an unseen struggle between political leadership and the state structure functioning in the traditional style, Dahal cautioned that the country would encounter a major accident if the political leadership failed to win the battle.

Dahal said even though people have huge expectation from the incumbent government, it has not been an easy task to get success.
