Lightning kills a person in Nawalparasi

NAWALPARASI: A person has been killed after being struck by lightning at Pratappur rural municipality-5 of Parasi today.

The deceased has been identified as 65-year-old Jhinku Loniya, police said. The lightning hit Loniya this afternoon as he was walking on the street.

Even though he was taken to the Community Hospital Chaupatta, doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, according to the police.
