Upper Trishuli-1 hydro project to be completed by 2024

KATHMANDU: Asian Infrastructure Development Bank is set to invest in the Upper Trishuli-1 hydro power project.

According to General Manager of Nepal Water and Energy Development Company Giriraj Adhikari, the bank has agreed to invest Rs 10 billion in the project.

Asian Development Bank, International Fiance Corporation, German Investment Cooperation, Netherlands  Development Finance Company, OPEC Fund for International Development, AIIB, among others have agreed to invest in the 216-megawatt hydro project.
