199 complaints against Nepali Police

KATHMANDU: A statistics has shown a total of 199 complaints have been flied against Nepal Police in the fiscal year 2018/19.

Of the complaints lodged at the Instigation Section of the Nepal Police, in the current fiscal year, of the 199 complaints, 92 cases have been sorted out while the investigation is underway on remaining 107 cases, a report in Rajdhani daily said.

The complaints were lodged against the police on the charges of dillydallying on the delivery of the services, behavior toward the public and the dishonesty shown on the boarder areas.
