Passenger jet in Myanmar lands on rear wheels after landing gear fails

YANGON: A Myanmar National Airlines plane only used its rear wheels after the front landing gear failed to deploy during an emergency landing.

All the passengers and crew members are safe, media report stated. The flight had 82 passengers and seven crew members onboard.

The pilot had informed the control tower before landing that he was unable to pull down the nose wheels.
