Teams, marquee players unveiled for Women’s Champions League



KATHMANDU: Participating teams and marquee players have been announced for the Women’s Champions League (WCL) to be organized by Queens Event Management.

At a press meet organized in the Capital City on Friday, Lalitpur Falcons, Pokhara Paltans, Capitals Royals Kathmandu, Chitwan Rhinos and Biratnagar Titans were announced as the participating teams.

Neri Thapa has been named marquee player for Lalitpur Falcons while Sita Rana Magar is the marquee player for Pokhara Paltans. Similarly, Capitals Royals Kathmandu has picked Rubina Chhetri as its marquee player.

Likewise, Indu Verma has been named marquee player for Chitwan Rhinos as Sarita Magar was announced to lead Biratnagar Titans.
