64 youths receive work permit for Malaysia



KATHMANDU: A total of 64 youths have received work permit from Labor Office Tahachal, Kathmandu in four days.

The youths receibed the work permit after the government opened work permit for Malaysia through call visa.

The government had opened the process on March 31, and the Labor Office started giving the permit from April 8, according to Devendra Karki, Director-General of the office.

He said Nepali workforce aspiring to go for Malaysia have felt a sigh of relief after the government reinitiated the process.

The government had earlier stopped providing work permit to Nepali workers for Malaysia. A total of 7,500 workers have so far received calling visa from Malaysia.
